Data Engineer, RBC
Leotis has extensive experience in teaching big data to all levels of students. He was an assistant instructor for Big Data and Predictive Data Analytics course at Ryerson University. He is currently working as a data engineer at one of the big banks in Canada, implementing data pipelines using various big data tools. Prior to this role, Leotis spent several years as a data scientist working on human mobility analysis at Location Genius. Leotis holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of the West Indies. Additionally, Leotis was also the founder of a start-up company, Exterbox, where he and his team strived to create products and solve clients’ problems in the field of web or embedded electronics development.
