  • This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information by WeCloudData in connection with the use of our website, online learning portal, and any related products or services made available by us (collectively, the “Services”).
  • This Policy applies to all users of the Services, regardless of their geographic location, and covers information collected directly by WeCloudData as well as information collected through the Services by means of automated technologies.
  • This Policy does not apply to, and WeCloudData shall not be responsible for, the data collection or privacy practices of any third-party websites, applications, or services that may be linked to, integrated with, or otherwise accessible through the Services.   • WeCloudData collects personal information necessary to deliver and improve our Services. The categories of information we may collect include, but are not limited to:
    1. Account and Contact Information: identifiers and contact details such as name, email address, phone number, billing address, and any other information required to create an account, provide Services, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
    2. Educational Records: information relating to course enrollment, participation, progress, assessments, completion status, and other academic or training records necessary to deliver and evaluate the Services.
    3. Payment and Transaction Information: transaction identifiers, amounts, payment status, and other billing-related records. Payment card details are processed directly by Stripe and are not stored by WeCloudData.
    4. Communications and Feedback: content of communications, survey responses, support requests, or any other information you submit when interacting with us.
    5. Technical and Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, log data, and other technical or usage-related information that may be automatically collected to maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
  • WeCloudData does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government identification numbers, health data, or biometric identifiers), except where required by law or strictly necessary for the provision of Services.
How We Use Your Information
  • WeCloudData may use the personal information collected through the Services for the following purposes, including but not limited to:

    2. Service Providers: to third-party vendors and service providers engaged to perform business functions on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, customer support, and data analytics.
    3. Payment Processing: to Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates for the purposes of processing payments. Payment card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are not retained by WeCloudData.
    4. Legal and Compliance: as required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of WeCloudData, our users, or others.
    5. Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or other corporate transaction, in which case personal information may be transferred to the acquiring or successor entity.
    6. Partners and Collaborators: to authorized academic institutions or training partners where such disclosure is necessary to deliver joint programs, co-branded courses, or other Services, and only to the extent required for such collaboration, subject to contractual safeguards.
    7. No Sale or Targeted Advertising: WeCloudData does not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their independent marketing or targeted advertising purposes.
Payment Processing (Stripe)
  • All payments for the Services are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates (“Stripe”). When you provide payment information to complete a transaction, such information is transmitted directly to Stripe. WeCloudData does not collect or store complete payment card details.
  • We may retain limited transaction information, such as order identifiers, amounts, and payment status, for billing, reconciliation, and support purposes.
  • Stripe’s collection and use of your personal information are governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy, available at Stripe Privacy. WeCloudData is not responsible for Stripe’s independent data collection, use, or security practices.
Data Retention
  • WeCloudData retains personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Services, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
    1. Account and Learning Records: retained for the duration of your account and as necessary to administer course participation, verify completion, and issue certificates.
    2. Payment and Transaction Information: retained for the period required under applicable tax, accounting, and financial reporting laws, up to seven (7) years.
    3. Communications and Support Records: retained for as long as necessary to address inquiries, provide support, and maintain business records.
    4. When personal information is no longer required for these purposes, WeCloudData will delete it, anonymize it, or securely store it until deletion is possible. In certain cases, information may be retained for longer periods if required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including maintaining the security, integrity, and continuity of the Services.
Data Security
  • WeCloudData implements reasonable and industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to personal information is limited to employees, contractors, and authorized third parties who require such access to perform their duties and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Payment card information is processed directly by Stripe, which maintains its own security standards, including compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). WeCloudData does not collect or store complete payment card details.
  • While we take reasonable measures to safeguard personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify individuals and/or regulators of data breaches as required by applicable law.
Children’s Privacy
  • Use of the Services by individuals under the age of 13 is strictly prohibited. WeCloudData does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
  • If WeCloudData becomes aware that personal information has been collected from an individual under 13 without parental consent, such information will be promptly deleted. Parents or legal guardians seeking to exercise rights with respect to personal information inadvertently collected from a child under 13 may contact WeCloudData at support@weclouddata.com
  • By accessing or using the Services, you represent and warrant that you satisfy the minimum age requirement set forth in the Terms and Conditions. WeCloudData disclaims responsibility for any misrepresentation of age or for processing personal information submitted in violation of this requirement.
User Rights
  • Subject to applicable law, users of the Services may have the following rights with respect to their personal information:
    1. Access and Portability: to request confirmation of whether we process personal information about you and to obtain a copy of such information in a commonly used format.
    2. Correction: to request that inaccurate or incomplete personal information be corrected or updated.
    3. Deletion: to request the deletion of personal information, subject to legal, regulatory, or contractual retention requirements.
