The lectures have been amazing! Both instructors are awesome – it’s obvious that they are experts in this domain. They both have the ability to explain concepts in such a way that they can be understood. The slides are also very helpful and provide a solid reference point for the topics discussed thus far. Overall, very happy that I am taking this course and would definitely recommend to colleagues and friends.

Thank you so much for coordinating an awesome course. The assistant instructor was really great in exposing to us how course material is applied in production level environment. I also like the instructor’s approach of pushing us to build from fundamental to real project using PyTorch first. And then progressing to Tensorflow. Personally, I think it’s a super awesome course, but I believe you really have to dig yourself into the contents and dedicate many head banging hours. But course material is very practical both in theory and application. Thanks much!

I was searching for a machine learning courses in GTA and WeCloudData grabbed my attention for 1. how professional their staffs are, 2. the industry experience the lecturers come with, and, 3. most importantly, that they regularly review and update their course material in response to the trends in the data science job market. I ended up taking several courses from them. They’re much like a real school set-up that I actually felt the peer pressure to keep up with the take-home assignments and projects (which is def a good thing for part-time students).

My work in the capital market has expanded into big data analytics; this requires us to analyze big data efficiently and accurately with better tools. This introductory course provided a practical and reasonable starting point to in learning SQL and Python, which offered an exciting opportunity to develop a new perspective at analyzing financial data while also adding data science knowledge. It is really worth highlighting on their exceptional coursework developed, they are very practical and applicable in the real world use. Right after taking the course, immediately I was able to put in practical use at work; it opened my product to transacting on portfolios in record size and allowed for more in-depth structuring capabilities. Overall, the instructor and teaching assistant is exceptional. It was a great course, and the experience was excellent.

This program is fantastic! I didn’t have a coding background and the way they prepared each module made it easier to understand from basic concepts to Advanced SQL and Python for Data Science that I just finished. There are still 4 modules to go before I become a Data Scientist but it is all very exciting. They really do prepare you and offer great support (includes problem sets, individually and in group and quizzes). The teachers are well connected and help you, no matter the prior experience. When you graduate, you graduate with a portfolio of projects a very good understanding academically and also hands on practise what is important as they showcase your writing capability.

I completed the WeCloudData DS & Big Data Diploma Bootcamp as a Career switcher from with a non-stem background. After completion of the diploma I had the opportunity through WCD to work on projects as an intern with real world clients with their DS/DE teams. The bootcamp + client project opportunity makes WCD the best value for career switchers. After completion of client projects, I was also provided with career support and a mentor (past alum) to help with job hunting. They provided prep. material prior to starting the course to help you get ready for the program. The program itself is very intensive. Be prepared to dedicate yourself fully for the duration of the program. That being said, the instructors and TA’s are mindful of weekends and holidays. If you are serious about Data related career, I highly recommend WCD courses. You get what time and effort you put into the program. Everyday, we had 3-4 hours of lectures and another 3-4 hours of TA office hours where we could work through labs and projects for our portfolio. The TA hours are optional but I highly recommend attending, you learn a lot by participating in them. They host guest lectures and networking events for students with companies actively recruiting DS/DA/DE positions. Attend the guest lectures, very beneficial for networking. Even afterhours, you could reach TAs and Instructors via e-mail or slack. The faculty is very dedicated and always accommodate your questions or struggles during the learning process. ​I never felt alone during the Bootcamp or unassisted. Class sizes are small so you every instructor and TA knows you personally. Honestly, I can’t be more grateful in hindsight for choosing WCD. They make an unmatched effort in ensuring all their graduates get hired.

**Note** I am reviewing for the two courses I graduated from Data science and Data engineering (the drop down didn’t let me select these two) This is the best data and AI school available based on my assessment: can you get a job after completing the program? My answer is yes as I have personally found work each time I enrolled in one of their programs – I enrolled in data science and data engineering bootcamps. Importantly, I came for the knowledge, but stayed for the community. Pros – Teaches you all the relevant topics and skills needed to get the job done in real world – Projects, assignments and exercises to help you build up the muscle memory – Extremely supportive team helping you land a job Cons – The bootcamp is intense and you will have to provide the focus, effort and time commitment – It will feel overwhelming but it’s worth it in the end
